Gege Akutami’s dark fantasy manga “Jujutsu Kaisen” has surpassed 100 million copies in print, including digital editions, publisher Shueisha Inc. announced.
The final episode of the series was published in the Weekly Shonen Jump comic anthology released on Sept. 30.
The story centers around young sorcerers who fight monsters born from the negative emotions of human beings.
The series started its run in 2018. Its animated TV and feature film adaptations have also gained popularity across Japan and abroad.
The 28th volume was released on Oct. 4, with the 29th and final 30th volumes scheduled to hit store shelves on Dec. 25.
“Jujutsu Kaisen” has joined the ranks of Shueisha’s manga titles with more than 100 million copies in circulation, including “Dragon Ball,” “Slam Dunk,” “One Piece,” “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” “Kingdom" and “My Hero Academia.”
