Copyright

  1. Copyright and all other rights related to the contents shall be held by the Asahi Shimbun or the copyright holder who has licensed usage to the Asahi.
  2. The Asahi and copyright holders who license usage to the Asahi make no guarantees (including for accuracy, completeness, and validity) of the contents.
  3. The Asahi and copyright holders who license usage to the Asahi can demand without warning compensation for all damages, losses and expenses incurred through illegal acts by users.

Prohibited acts

Users and third parties connected to users shall be prohibited from the following acts in relation to usage of this website:

  1. Any act that violates or could possibly violate copyright and all other intellectual property rights related to all information included in the application.
  2. Any act that violates the copyright, trademark, patent, design right and all other intellectual property rights of the Asahi or a third party as well as the lending, giving, distributing or providing for use of trust to a third party, regardless if such acts are done for a fee or not, as well as any copying, transmission, public transmission, translation and adaptation that goes beyond the limits of private use allowed by the Copyright Law.
  3. Any act with the purpose of profiting from the usage of the contents without the prior approval of the Asahi or any act with the purpose of preparing for such an act.
  4. Besides the above acts, any illegal acts as well as all acts judged by the Asahi to be inappropriate.
