Famed Kabuki actor Ichikawa Ennosuke was found collapsed along with his parents at their home in Tokyo on May 18 and what appears to be a suicide note was found in the residence, police said.
Ennosuke, 47, was rushed to the hospital and is conscious, according to the Meguro Police Station of the Metropolitan Police Department.
His mother was confirmed dead at the scene and the father was confirmed dead at the hospital where he was taken.
Ennosuke's manager found the Kabuki actor in a semi-conscious state in his room in the basement and his parents lying on another floor of the home in Tokyo’s Meguro Ward at 10:20 a.m. on May 18, according to investigators.
The manager made an emergency call for assistance.
