A stately avenue formed by gingko trees in Tokyo’s leafy Meiji Jingu Gaien area is now lit up at night.
The nighttime illumination is for 64 of the 146 trees in various autumn hues lined up in four rows along a roughly 300-meter stretch.
The illumination will continue until Dec. 1 for three hours from 4:30 p.m. every day.
