An entertainment center based on the “Harry Potter” franchise will open on June 16 in Tokyo’s Nerima Ward, its operator has announced.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo--The Making of Harry Potter is currently under construction at the site of the now-defunct Toshimaen amusement park.
The center featuring J.K. Rowling’s creations will be the world’s second, following one just outside London.
It will recreate sets featured in the “Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts” movies and offer visitors a chance to explore the behind-the-scenes secrets of the film series.
Tickets, sold at the official website, cost 6,300 yen ($47.50) for adults, 5,200 yen for junior and senior high school students, and 3,800 yen for children aged 4 or older, including elementary school pupils.
