An entertainment facility based on the “Harry Potter” film franchise opening in Tokyo next summer will feature iconic sets intended to bring the popular series to life, operator Warner Bros. Japan LLC announced.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo--The Making of Harry Potter is under construction on the site of the Toshimaen amusement park in the capital’s Nerima Ward, which closed in August 2020 after 94 years in operation.

The Hogwarts Great Hall, one of the most recognizable spots from the franchise, will be recreated along with other sets such as the Forbidden Forest, Platform 9¾ and Gringotts Wizarding Bank.

Costumes worn by Harry Potter characters as well as props used in the filming will be on display. Visitors can explore the behind-the-scenes secrets of the film series.

The attraction will be the world’s second, following the one just outside London that opened in 2012.
