Tokyo confirmed 21 new COVID-19 cases on Nov. 30, four more than the same day a week ago.
The seven-day average of new infections in Tokyo through Nov. 30 stood at 15, or 86.2 percent of the figure for the preceding week.
Tokyo also reported that a man in his 60s died of COVID-19.
The number of serious cases in Tokyo requiring ventilators or extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, also known as an ECMO lung bypass machine, stood at six, unchanged from the day before.
