TSUMAGOI, Gunma Prefecture--Though the Manza Prince Hotel is located in the renowned Manza onsen resort here, two guest rooms offer manga lovers the chance to sit and simply read to their heart's content all day.
The two so-called Comic Rooms house about 2,000 manga volumes from 74 titles that range from new releases to classics. They include “Oshi no Ko,” “Jujutsu Kaisen” and “Rookies.”
“We would love for our guests to immerse themselves in the world of manga without worrying about their surroundings,” a hotel representative said.
The Comic Rooms are the brainchild of a staff member who is also a manga enthusiast.
They are available until March 23. Reservations must be made online.
Room rates for two start at 15,336 yen ($103) per person, including both dinner and breakfast buffets.
