Tokyo metropolitan government officials confirmed 25 new COVID-19 cases on Nov. 3, down 11 from the same day a week ago.
For the week ending Nov. 3, the daily average of new cases in the capital was 20.3, which was 72.8 percent of the previous week’s average.
There were 14 COVID-19 patients reported in Tokyo with symptoms serious enough to require a ventilator or other equipment to breathe. The figure was unchanged from the previous five days.
There were also three deaths confirmed from COVID-19.
