KUMAGAYA, Saitama Prefecture--Chichibu Railway Co. said it will resume operations of the Paleo Express, its only steam locomotive, in February after a 14-month hiatus.
The Paleo Express, which has been undergoing repairs, will make a round trip between Kumagaya and Mitsumineguchi stations mainly on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays for a total of 105 days from Feb. 13 through Dec. 5, the railway company based here said.
