From Shibuya billboards to cardboard cutouts at local drugstores, the fever around Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani will be ramping up even further across Japan.
Japan Post Co. announced on Nov. 14 the upcoming release of a commemorative stamp set in honor of his fourth Most Valuable Player accomplishment.
Ohtani's National League MVP set will be priced at 8,910 yen ($57), including tax and shipping.
Included are five 110-yen self-adhesive stamps depicting his career highlights, a specially made stamp holder and photos of memorable moments.
Orders will be accepted at post offices and through Japan Post's online shop starting Nov. 20. Delivery is scheduled from Feb. 28.
