BEIJING--China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi met his Japanese counterpart Yoko Kamikawa in New York on 23, his ministry said in a statement on Sept. 24, during which they discussed the fatal stabbing of a Japanese child in southern China last week.
The pair also discussed the agreement China and Japan reached over the discharge of wastewater from the wrecked Fukushima nuclear plant, the statement added.
