KOBE--For an authentic German holiday experience in Japan, the Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens in the city's Chuo Ward is offering a Christmas market that runs until Dec. 25.
The festive venue is adorned with large handmade wreaths and other ornaments.
According to the operator, nutcrackers, tin products and other crafts on sale at the park were imported from Germany.
The park is also serving wines and beers produced in the European country, giving the event an even more authentic feel and flavor.
"Hot wine has a mild mouthfeel," said a corporate worker from Kobe who brought his family of four.
The market is open from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays, weekends, public holidays and Dec. 25.
A Christmas tree is illuminated daily at 4:30 p.m. Cosmos flowers are in full bloom at the venue until early December.
