New cases of confirmed novel coronavirus infection in the capital on May 2 fell by five to 160 from the previous day, bringing the overall total to 4,477, sources in the Tokyo metropolitan government said.
May 2 marked the second day of 160 or more cases following two days of less than 50 on April 29 and April 30.
