The second season of the “Zombie Land Saga” animated TV series will run under the title of “Zombie Land Saga Revenge.”
The story focuses on a group of girls who have turned into zombies and become idol singers to revitalize Saga Prefecture.
The news was announced at an event held in July at the Furusato Kaikan Arpino in Karatsu in the western Japan prefecture. During the event, voice actresses playing the members of an all-zombie idol group from the anime, Franchouchou, performed a live concert.
A teaser video featuring actor Hakuryu giving a passionate speech was shown at the venue. Also unveiled was a teaser visual featuring Kotaro Tatsumi looking up at the sky with his arms raised in Saga Prefecture.
In addition, it was revealed that Franchouchou’s greatest hits album will be released on Nov. 27.
