The center of the photo shows part of a charred hoe-shaped wooden object. Below it is a piece of wood that likely was part of a wooden water bucket. Both were discovered at the Nishi-Iwata ruins in Higashi-Osaka, Osaka Prefecture, along with a wooden mask at the top of the photo.
