“Drops of God,” a Hulu original based on Tadashi Agi’s manga about wine, won best drama series at the 52nd International Emmy Awards, HJ Holdings Inc., operator of the video streaming service, said on Nov. 26.
The eight-episode series, currently streaming on Hulu, is co-produced by HJ Holdings and three other companies from France and the United States.
It features Tomohisa Yamashita’s first starring role in a foreign drama series.
The title of the manga is “The Drops of God.”
