Santa Claus came to Tokyo’s Marunouchi district on Dec. 23, but it wasn’t to deliver gifts.

Around 210 employees of companies located in the area near Tokyo Station donned red caps and jackets for a mass cleanup of the area around the station as a gesture of goodwill to put people in a better mood for the Christmas weekend.

The event was organized by the Council for Area Development and Management of Otemachi, Marunouchi and Yurakucho.
