Founded more than 130 years ago, Sanbido specializes in "han-eri" collars for "juban" kimono underwear.
But its Karasuma main store is lined with a wide variety of casual accessories that boast traditional Japanese designs, eye-catching colors and stunning patterns.
One popular item is a handbag with a metal clasp, complete with a cute-looking ring handle. The 20-centimeter-long bag can easily hold cosmetics and other personal items, making it great company for a short outing.
When it comes to items with traditional Japanese aesthetics and modern flare, Sanbido spoils for choice and has many patterns and color combinations on offer.
