That’s the charm of traditional Japanese “washi” paper.
Kamiji Kakimoto, founded in 1716, was initially a bamboo wholesaler. It has operated as a paper store since 1845.
In addition to handling up to 3,000 varieties of washi paper, it offers notebooks and other original washi products at the storefront.
Particularly worthy of note is a writing set with hand-dyed letter paper featuring seasonal flowers. The ravishingly beautiful paper is recommended as a gift for that special someone.
