HIGASHI-OSAKA, Osaka Prefecture--A company here said it has leveled up its hoodie that allows gamers to continue playing without being interrupted by their attention-seeking pet cats.
Be-s Co., a manufacturer of furniture designed for video game playing, released the Meowgaroo Hoodie 2 to save gamers the trouble of being torn between paying attention to their pet felines and entertainment.
When the wearer is seated on a chair, a cat can easily nestle into a pocket on the belly part of the hoodie.
The cat will rest snugly on its master’s thighs, but it can only stick out its face from the pocket, making it impossible for its paws to touch the mouse or keyboard during gameplay.
The company said the hoodie features an improved pocket arrangement and better textiles than its predecessor marketed in 2015,
The gimmick was proposed by an employee who wanted “my cat to allow me to play games.”
“Putting a cat in the pocket to warm each other in the cold season will bring happiness to you,” said a cat-owning Be-s representative.
