Tokyo on May 27 confirmed 11 new cases of the novel coronavirus, the 13th day in a row its daily tally of new infections stayed below 20.
The latest cases raise the capital's overall figure for COVID-19 infections to 5,181.
On May 25, the government lifted its remaining state of emergency for Tokyo, Hokkaido, and Chiba, Kanagawa, and Saitama prefectures. It had been in place since April 7.
