More than 60 people aboard the quarantined cruise ship Diamond Princess anchored off Yokohama Port in Kanagawa Prefecture tested positive for the new coronavirus on Feb. 10.

The infection was traced to a male passenger who boarded the ship and disembarked in Hong Kong in late January.

Of 3,700 or so passengers and crew members on the vessel, 336 had undergone virus testing by Feb. 9, and 70 were found to be infected.
